Bilateral mammogram / breast examination, routine gynaecological tests incl. PAP tests, testicular / prostate exam, PSA/DRE tests. Preventive screening for high-risk members and BRCA1 & BRCA2 tests for high-risk women

Treatment of a medical condition including stabilisation of an acute chronic condition, when treatment is received as an in-patient or day-patient.

Psychiatric & Psychotherapy Treatment

Psychiatric or Psychotherapy in-patient treatment of mental disorders carried out by a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist received in a registered psychiatric unit of a hospital or received in a recognised Psychiatric or Psychologist practice.

Hospice & Palliative Care

Palliative and/or end-of-life care or services, with a focus on relieving the physical / psychological suffering rather than to cure, stop, reverse, or delay the progression of the medical condition.

Home nursing or nursing in a convalescent home

Skilled Care nursing received immediately after, or instead of, eligible In-patient or day-patient treatment which is deemed medically necessary.

Medical evacuation and repatriation services for an illness or bodily injury sustained abroad and if treatment is not available locally repatriation services will be provided. Cover provided for an accompanying person and hotel accommodation.

Global Intelligence Center

All-inclusive security intelligence database that contains a vast array of real-time analysis and information of countries and major cities around the globe. Including access to continuous updates on health information pertinent to travel destinations such as immunisations, vaccinations, regional health concerns, entry and exit requirements, and transportation information.

Out-patient Plan

Durable Medical Equipment & Prosthesis

Diabetic monitoring equipment such as insulin pumps, glucose meters and peritoneal dialysis machines and oxygen and related delivery components, the purchase or rental of crutches or a wheelchair, hearing and speaking aids such as an electronic larynx.

Prescriptions Drugs

Drugs, dressings, medicines and appliances approved by the relevant pharmaceutical regulatory agencies which can be obtained through a written prescription and recommended by a licensed Physician.

Minor Surgical & Non-Surgical Procedures

Surgical procedures inclusive of endoscopy investigations carried out under an out-patient basis: Gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, colposcopy, laparoscopy and arthroscopy. Dialysis treatment will be covered separately under the dialysis benefit.

Medical Practitioner Fees & Specialist Fees

General Practitioners and Consultants, who are licensed by the relevant authority to practice medicine in the country where the treatment is given and is practicing within the limits of the persons license.

Out-patient Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation provided in special treatment rooms, physical and/or speech therapy and fees, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, post-cochlear implant aural therapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy.

Lab/Diagnostic and Pathology tests

Includes pathology, X-rays, radiology, CAT/MRI/PET, ECG, Eco-cardiogram, Ultrasounds, cardiac cath., cardiac stress test or blood test undertaken in order to determine the cause of the symptoms presented.

Virtual Visits

Digital healthcare and telemedicine service that facilitates a consultation with a doctor through a desktop or mobile device for non-emergency minor medical conditions.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy treatment carried out by a registered physiotherapist who is permitted to practice in the country where the treatment received. The initial 5 sessions of Physiotherapy are non-prescribed and do not require a referral by a medical practitioner prior to undergoing treatment.

Out-patient Cover

Our Out-patient plan offers a broad range of services, with well baby cover provided across all plans and optical/vision and infertility benefits provided on the higher tiered plans.

Our dental plans include comprehensive cover for dental treatment, dental surgery, periodontics, orthodontics and dental prostheses.

Dental Treatment

Routine dental treatment & annual examination including tooth cleaning, basic fillings, simple nonsurgical extractions which relate to decay or cavities and root canal treatment.

Dental Surgery

Tooth related surgical procedures such as the surgical extraction of teeth, removal of solid odontomes, apicoectomy (endodontic procedure), and removal of wisdom teeth and IV sedation.

Physiotherapy treatment carried out by a registered physiotherapist who is permitted to practice in the country where the treatment received. The initial 5 sessions of Physiotherapy are non-prescribed and do not require a referral by a medical practitioner prior to undergoing treatment.

Vision/Optical

One routine eye exam and hardware purchase per year including the purchase of vision hardware, contact lenses, eye glass frames and eyeglass lenses, and bifocals.
